What Patti brings to the SAGE Team
Patti Dolan is committed to helping investors better align their investments with their personal values. With over 30 years of investment experience she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to SAGE. Patti’s focus since 1995 has been Responsible Investing (RI) and helping align investor’s portfolios with their values.
Patti is a registered Portfolio Manager, and joins as co-manager of SAGE’s Responsible Investing (RI) portfolio. She brings expertise in evaluating companies based on their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria.
Patti has been engaged with the Responsible Investment community in a variety of different roles. Her roles have included; key note speaking, panel moderator, panelist, emcee, presenter, task force participant, and participant.
In the News
Patti has been an influential member in Canada for Responsible Investing both in the avocation and education of investors, institutions and the public. She has been involved with many public events and has been interviewed on Impact Investing due to her expertise and engagement in the field of Responsible Investing.
Involved in Education
Patti has taken her passion for Responsible Investing and has created a Social Finance class which she currently teaches at Ambrose University. Her goal is to educate students on the benefits of investing with sustainable practices.
In the Community
Community involvement has always played an important role in Patti’s life, from coaching her son’s baseball team to her past positions with Soroptimist International, an international organization for business and professional women that focuses on improving the lives of women and girls. She has also held executive positions with the Alpine Club of Calgary, specifically Access and Environment Chair and served on the Calgary Area Outdoor Council. Patti has participated in a study tour to Rwanda, attended sessions at the United Nations in New York, and has reviewed companies for the UN Global Compact. Presently Patti is Secretary for the Responsible Investment Association of Canada, member of the University of Calgary’s Sustainable Investment Committee, Board Member of Vibrant Communities Calgary, member of REAP, a Calgary sustainable business association and Conference Board of Canada Leadership Faculty Member – Corporate Sustainability Institute
